Buttons for elevators:
The few elevators within Angela Merkel's office are controlled by "P" and "L" which the elevator system is designed to move all platform simultaneously.
The white elevator at the very bottom of Miranda Kerr's office which carries the character from ground level to Miranda's office is controlled by "P" and "L" as well.
The blue elevator which moves from Angela Merkel's office to the dinner table is controlled by "B" and "N" to move back and forth.
The blue elevator which moves from Miranda Kerr's office to the dinner table is controlled by "J" and "K" to move back and forth.

NOTICE: I checked my level in crysis afterwards and my dinner table ground surface is sometimes bugged, where player may fall through the surface into the water, but after replacing the surface again, problem was resolved, so please be aware as I don't know how to fix that as It seems fine as times.

Developed Environment

This is the overall view of the architecture. I tried to designed entire architecture as one single entity, so they have unity with each other while also try to create a distinctive contrast between each other.

This is the dinner table, I opt for a simple design for the dinner table but to create a picturesque setting with the waterfall and ocean view. The dinner on water is an inspiration from a tennis exhibition match, where a tennis match was played on water, with a glass surface.

This is the office for Angela Merkel, inspired by her position as a chancellor of Germany, I research her position and was later drawed ideas from Star wars the movie, similar position with the chancellor of the galactic empire. Her office symbolises the government chamber, where most of her work time will involved. The platforms serves as a working space and an elevator.

This is the bridge between Miranda Kerr and Angela Merkel, the bridge combines design ideas from both of their respective architecture and to serve as a bridge to the two differences of power.

This is the office of Miranda Kerr, her work as a model give her influence and power, but vastly contrast with Angela Merkel's type of power. Her power as a professional model is about beauty, so I used a colour theme which shows life and beauty, the environment gives her a roof/platform for her modelling, similar to a few of her photoshop shoots which includes a lot of sunlight.

POWER
The idea of power is often based on their position, influence and popularity, but power is not a gift, but to be earn through hard work. The public must learn that the blind man is neither genius nor a freak nor an idiot. He has a mind that can be educated, a hand which can be trained, ambitions which it is right for him to strive to realise, and it is the duty of the public to help him make the best of himself so that he can win light through work. Power also comes from their social status and becomes a symbol. "I think people like Miranda are very good for fashion overall and I like the fact that models can become brands, because in a lot of ways it's more appropriate I think than celebrities" Organisations also have controls of power like the government parties, The presidency may be a largely ceremonial position, chosen by members of Parliament and state representatives, but the secret ballot is also an important test of party solidarity.

36 textures

This time around, I tried to use different pens and pencils to give it a more dynamic effect. Also used compass to to give some of the textures a scientific feel (like alchemy circles). Lastly, I explored the 3D perspectives of textures, I realise in movies and gaming industry, there is a movement towards a 3D entertainment, so I tried to use drawing techniques learnt from prevoius assignment (axonometric drawing) to give textures a 3D element.

Click on the Google 3D warehouse logo to link to my model uploaded on Google warehouse.

This is all the models I used in my final crysis uploads, this is not fully structured as I put them together inside crysis to try to include the landform into the structures.
(click on the picture will link to google warehouse for the 3d model)
The models are also in different components to apply different textures to the them.

There are two level files as I used different levels in my first draft and final draft. File A is my first draft level and file B is my final draft level.

Crysis - Final

In my screenshots, I used a picturesque quality to the pictures to give them a painting-like quality to them.

This is a view of the environment, I attempted to merge the landforms together with the structures, by using the landforms to connect the ramps to the meeting place. This screenshot captures the basic landforms of our world, our most basic habitat, as Stephen Hawking said, "For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals."

This is Stephen Hawking's lab, one of the most brilliant mind in the history of mankind. Bounded by his physical disability, his mind is completely free and unrestricted, thus able to see past normal boundaries of science and physics. This is symbolised by the boundless ocean.

This is the Charles Darwin lab, I used a more mass based structure for his lab. I chose a higher altitude for his lab to reflect on his most famed theory, "let the strongest live and the weakest die"

This is the meeting place of the two labs. As seen in the electroliquid aggregation, they have both theorised in the evolution of mankind. This structure symbolises the beacon of light and pinnacle of knowledge that guides the evolution of humans.

This is the ramp that leads up to Charles Darwin's lab, as Shaowen said, ramp represents a journey. I used this ramp to represent the harsh but natural law that Charles Darwin theories in his book "origin of species", the source of my quote for Charles Darwin, the law of natural selection. Only the strongest can survive and be selected by nature, while the weakest will be extinct by the harshness of their habitat.

These are the textures I'm going to use in my structres. I used photoshop to later the tone, contrast and brightness of the images and removed the grid lines from the scans to make it more realistic.

2nd draft for the two labs

The lab on the left is for Stephen Hawking

On the right is the lab for Charles Darwin, I counted the prism that went through the main structure as one prism, therefore will be 9 prism along with a negative prism on the back of the structure.
